When we created dhool, we knew from the start that we wanted it to be a sustainable venture. From bush to cup (and even after) we have made decisions that positively impact the environment so you can properly relax into a good cuppa.
Our tea bags
Our tea bags are plastic free, 100% biodegradable and silky to the touch. Throw them in your compost or food bin (or your normal bin if you don’t have one) once you’re done with them.
Our packaging
Our eco-friendly pouches are derived from natural, renewable energy sources and are certified by EU compostable standards. Just like our tea bags, they're fully compostable.
So, if you have a compost heap in the garden you can just pop the pouches in there - or if you don’t have a garden, you could share a cuppa with someone at your local allotment and use theirs!
Our tea selections
All of our teas are ethically sourced to make sure we’re doing our part in supporting the communities involved in tea production.
The UN itself recognises that ethical tea production and processing contributes to the reduction of extreme poverty (Goal 1), the fight against hunger (Goal 2), the empowerment of women (Goal 5) and the sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems (Goal 15).
The best thing for us is simply knowing we're getting the best quality teas while helping sustainably fund the livelihoods of our producers.
